the site
Well bugger me... it's 2006 and I've been keeping a website for almost 11 years now, that's a hell of a lot of content accrued over many years of dumping brain to keyboard like some cheap (but it must be said effective) form of therapy. In that time I've had a blog, a picture journal, stories, work stuff, details about nights out and enough other random wibbling to fill several backup CDs if nothing else.
So the site's last incarnation was here in June 2003 - and I decided around about that time to take it offline to give it a thorough overall in both design and site structure moving it away from Blogger Pro which was becoming increasing flaky after Google bought it out when Pyra sold out: but, having taken it all offline, I realised that it was actually quite nice not having the burden of looking after the damn thing, but the design itch got the better of me and I eventually decided to redesign in a little homage to Ab Fab at the Beeb, and it must be said it's nice to be back.
